AIREDALE Symphony Orchestra will perform the first concert of its latest season at the King’s Hall, Ilkley, on Sunday (November 15) at 3pm.
The concert will feature Romance For Bassoon And Orchestra by Elgar, with soloist Lewis Wright, and the world premiere of William Kinghorn’s Five Pieces For Orchestra.
There will also be early 20th century works by English composers: Overture Portsmouth Point by William Walton, Brigg Fair by Frederick Delius, and Symphony No. 2 in E flat by Edward Elgar.
The orchestra is conducted by John Anderson and led by Jacqueline Cima.
