Leeds’ annual food and drink festival is back for 2014 and this year organisers say they are aiming to make it even bigger and better than ever before.
The Leeds Food and Drink Festival aims to become the biggest and best urban food festival in the UK, with a diverse range of tasty events.
Running from Friday, May 23 until Sunday, June 8, this year’s festival will include brand new events in a two week celebration of the amazing food and drink scene in Leeds and guarantees to leave your taste buds tingling.
New events include everything from a kids’ festival at The Tetley to an exciting pop-up dining experience in Trinity Kitchen through to cocktail classes and cake making in venues throughout Leeds.
The Leeds Food and Drink Festival’s grand finale will be the annual three-day Yorkshire Food and Drink Show in Millennium Square between June 6-8.
Among the Yorkshire firms taking part will be Beer-Ritz, Bondgate Bakery, Jacksons Bakery, Just Jennys, Lishman’s of Ilkley, Mariners Coffee Merchants, Swillington Organic, The Chilli Jam Man, The Original Chocolate Dream Company, York Speciality Foods and Yorkshire Rapeseed Oil.
This year the Yorkshire Food and Drink Show will include an exciting new addition, Le Grand DeParty. To celebrate the imminent arrival of the 2014 Grand Depart visitors will be able to sample the delights of French food, drink and produce.
