Tall Stories’ magical, musical stage adaptation of children’s favourite The Gruffalo (pictured) returns to Bradford next week, giving young audiences chance to join Mouse on an adventure through the deep dark wood in search of hazelnuts.
Along the way she meets the cunning Fox, the eccentric old Owl and the party-mad Snake and outwits them all with the story of the fabled Gruffalo. Armed with only a nut map and a little courage, Mouse must make sure she doesn’t end up as dinner for these wily woodland creatures.
The show blends music, laughter, theatre and just the right touch of scary fun, adapted from Julia Donaldson’s award-winning picture book.
- The Gruffalo runs at St George’s Hall, Bradford, from today, Thursday, to Saturday. Ring (01274) 432000.
