Tickets go on sale today for two arena gigs announced by the Kaiser Chiefs.
The Menston band will headline London's 02 Arena on February 13, 2015, followed by a giant homecoming at Leeds First Direct Arena on February 14, 2015.
The band have just spent two weeks at the top of the UK album chart with their fifth studio album, Education, Education, Education and War.
The band are currently on tour in Europe, and frontman Ricky Wilson says they’re all looking forward to the big nights in London and Leeds.
Ricky, who is from Menston, said: “The last few months have been great. We’re enjoying playing the new album and getting our songs ready for our festival slots and then, to top it off, we get to start next year at the 02!”
Bassist Simon Rix added: “It’s a great time for the Leeds music scene; there’s a lot going on right now.
“We’re so happy to be able to play the new Arena again. Nothing can match the support we get from the Yorkshire crowds.”
It’s a busy summer for Kaiser Chiefs, the band set to play at V Festival, T In The Park and Glastonbury festivals alongside a number of European dates and a North American tour.
