The Sunday celebration will be a showcase of some of Spain’s best-loved food and drink and an opportunity for customers to put La Casita’s tapas to the taste test.

Fiesta ticket holders will enjoy endless top-ups of freshly-made sangria throughout the afternoon and evening while having the opportunity to pair Spanish hams, charcuterie and cheeses, imported direct from Badajoz in south west Spain, with specially-selected wines, cavas and sherries, including Pedro Ximénez and Alvear Fino varieties.

Head chef, Simon Miller, will also be serving up hot roasted Spanish sausages as part of the fiesta feast. Bringing a flamenco feel to the fiesta will be internationally-renowned Spanish guitarist, Samuel Moore, who performed at La Casita’s opening night in March. Samuel, who has played at venues all over the world, will perform a vibrant and colourful set at La Casita’s bank holiday party.

Simon said: “We hope the fiesta will be a fun way to ring in the start of summer and what better way to herald the onset of warmer weather than with a celebration of our favourite Spanish food and wine.

“We will be serving a fabulous range of hams, charcuterie and cheeses – all available on our regular menu – which guests will be able to try and then pair with the best our tapas bar has to offer. In true Spanish style, our aim is to take people on a tapas adventure through some of Spain’s most celebrated food regions and we’ll do this through small plates which are big on flavour and which come to life with amazing wines.”

Tickets for La Casita’s bank holiday fiesta are priced at £15 each and are available to buy direct from the bar. Included in the price of each ticket are two plates of tapas and two drinks plus unlimited top-ups of sangria throughout the evening.
