An evening of song at Bolton Abbey performed by St Paulinus Singers will raise money for the Yorkshire Dales Millennium Trust (YDMT) to support vital project that care for the environment, landscape and economy of the Yorkshire Dales.
The choral concert will take place at Bolton Abbey Church on Saturday, from 7.30pm, and the performance will have an uplifting ‘English Country Garden’ theme.
The programme includes pieces with a floral theme, Britten’s Flower Songs, ‘As torrents in summer’ by Elgar, ‘Summertime’, ‘Songs of Springtime, Stanford’s Bluebird, as well as organ solos by David Darling.
St Paulinus Singers, from Ripon, has 30 members drawn from Leyburn, Leeds, York, Harrogate and Helmsley.
