AIREBOROUGH Camera Club is inviting people to take part in its second photographic competition.
Non-professional photographers of any age can submit work on the theme of My Yorkshire, with images of town, countryside, coast, events, buildings or people.
The free competition will have three classes: primary, up to and including 11 years of age; secondary, 12 to 18; and adults, aged 19 and over.
The club will accept email images, phone pictures and prints.
A spokesman said: “We aim to encourage people to take a more active, appreciative and personal interest in the county in which they live and/or work, the places, the events and the people around them.”
Organisers are also inviting businesses to get involved in a number of ways, including giving sponsorship, taking part in judging and urging staff to take part.
Each person can enter up to three images, each accompanied with a title, as well as the candidate’s name, age, address, email address and telephone number.
Prints to be sent, with completed entry form, to A.C.C. c/o 123 Woodcot Avenue, Baildon, Shipley BD17 6QS, or email acc.competitions@gmail.com with pics and entry details.
