A HOST of breweries from across the Keighley district feature in a new book.
The Yorkshire Beer Bible contains listings for more than 170 brewing operations in the county.
And it gives an outline of each company and its top tipples.
Around nine breweries in the Keighley area, Worth Valley and South Craven are spotlighted.
There are also notes about some of the pubs where the brews are available.
Author Simon Jenkins, a renowned beer writer, travelled the county researching his book – subtitled "a drinker's guide to the brewers, beers and pubs of God's own country".
"The whole landscape for drinkers has shifted beyond recognition," he said.
"The growth of beer culture has given today's drinkers a host of taste experiences unimaginable just a few years ago.
"New brewers have come to the market, through sheer force of quality muscling in on territory once dominated by national brands.
"That there has proved to be a market for such variety has encouraged brewers to stretch out into styles which had once been forced to the margin."
Mr Jenkins said his 192-page hardback book, which is also packed with photos, aimed to demonstrate Yorkshire's "sizeable" contribution to the current-day beer offering.
"I set out with the intention of including every single brewery in the county," he added.
"Though I found 178, it's clear that new breweries are opening all the time so it's possible that some might have slipped through the net.
"Everything ranging from fiercely-traditional breweries producing time-honoured beers in slate Yorkshire squares, to the new-wave craft brewers embracing a dizzying variety of imported hops, is featured."
Journalist Mr Jenkins began penning a newspaper pub column 25 years ago.
He has written for a host of publications in the UK and overseas, and regularly contributes to broadcast discussions on beer and brewing – most recently on BBC Radio 4's Food Programme.
Mr Jenkins was named Beer Writer of the Year by the British Guild of Beer Writers in 2010.
The Yorkshire Beer Bible is published by Great Northern Books and is priced £11.99.
