SHEARD John Michael Peacefully on June 1, at home in Skipton, formerly of Bolton Abbey, aged 86 years. Beloved husband of Brenda, much loved father of Carol and Sarah, loving father-in-law of Ted and Joe and dearest grandpa of Harry, Tom, Jack, Ben, Oliver and Harvey. Due to current restrictions a private cremation will take place. When restrictions are lifted a Thanksgiving Service with interment of ashes will be held at the Priory Church, Bolton Abbey, the date for this will be announced asap after June 14. Family flowers only please. If desired, donations in memory of John can be made for the Priory Church and sent to Church Office, Bolton Abbey, Skipton BD23 6AL.
