METCALFE James (Jim) On June 13, 2021, peacefully at the Craven Nursing Home, after a short illness. Jim aged 86 years a retired police officer of Skipton. Beloved husband of Maureen (Mo), dearly loved dad of Richard and Jane, much loved grandad of Hayley, Jonathan, Kirsty, Sam and Tom, stepfather to Lorraine and Tony. A Private service will be held at Skipton Crematorium on Thursday July 1. Family flowers only please, donations to Yorkshire Cancer Research in memory of Jim. Any enquiries to Howcroft`s Funeral Services, Skipton BD23 2EJ.

I worked with Jim, played rugby with him and met him socially. What a man. What a sad loss.
