Pamela BRAITHWAITE

Passed away peacefully on 16th October 2024,
aged 91 years. Pamela was a highly respected Veterinary Surgeon, having graduated from the University of Edinburgh, as one of the first female Vets to be honoured into the Profession. Establishing her career in Leeds, Pamela subsequently became an iconic figure in Ilkley,
co-founding the veterinary surgery Braithwaite and Harrison and latterly Ashlands Veterinary Centre. Devoted wife to the late Michael,
loving mother to Andrew and Graham and
her 4 grandchildren.Funeral Skipton at Crematorium at 10.50am on
Friday 8th November, followed by a celebration of both Pamela and Michaels’ lives at the The Fleece in Addingham where family and friends will enjoy fond memories and stories. Family flowers only please, donations if desired to "Centrepoint"
