Ilkley Cycling Club has celebrated its annual barbecue event by presenting £2,400 to charities.
A massive turnout on Yorkshire Day last week saw rides going in all directions from Ilkley including a novelty ice cream dash to the Cavendish Pavilion and a hilly Tour de Moor via Silsden, East Morton, Dick Hudson's and Burley Woodhead with everyone back in time to enjoy food and drink at The Vaults in town.
The club gave £2,000 to Sue Ryder Manorlands, £200 to Outside the Box Cafe and £200 to LS29 from funds raised by its recent White Rose Classic Sportive event.
Local business Spirit Cycling also gave £100 to Yorkshire Air Ambulance from jersey sales with an extra £80 from by Maisie Warren.
