A series of walks which was set up 20 years ago will hold three events this month and next as part of the 2013 series.
The Friday evening walks were launched two decades ago by Albert Shutt, who was then chairman of Aireborough Civic Society.
Mr Shutt set up the walks so that local people could explore the Aireborough area, visiting places few people had been to.
The walks are normally between three and four miles long and at a pace to suit the slowest walker.
The next walk takes place today, setting off from High Royds Drive, Menston, at 6.30pm. On Friday, August 23, walkers will set off from Burley Railway Station at 6.15pm. Contact Jack Schofield on (01943) 875304 for further details on either of the August events.
On Friday, September 6 a Rawdon Ramble will set off from Rawdon Library at 6pm. For further details, contact Jane Sadler on (0113) 250 8900.
