A dementia awareness talk and sessions for people suffering from the condition will be held Yeadon in September.
The Alzheimer’s Society will give the awareness talk at Yeadon Town Hall on Tuesday, September 10 at 5.30pm. The event is open to anyone and is free of charge.
Also in Yeadon six weekly sessions will be given by AVSED, in conjunction with Purple Patch Arts, for people with dementia and memory problems.
The sessions, at Yeadon Town Hall, are also free of charge and are open to anyone over the age of 60. The sessions will take place from 1pm-3pm on Tuesdays from September 10 to October 15.
