Children in Otley will be able to explore the world of the Vikings at a themed craft workshop this month. The Vikings are Coming! takes place at Otley Courthouse from 10.30am on Tuesday, August 27, and is aimed at five to 12-year-olds. The children - those aged eight and under must be accompanied - will make a Viking shield and/or brooch. Places cost £5 and can be booked at otley courthouse.org.uk. Further workshops taking place at the same time on Wednesday and Thursday will feature a clay workshop, and create your own Tour de France rider, respectively.
