The oldest residents of Addingham, Burley-in-Wharfedale, Ilkley and Menston are invited to a party being held in their honour Ilkley and District Good Neighbours will host its annual Over 90s Party at the Clarke Foley Centre, Cunliffe Road, on September 28.
Men and women living in the area who are aged 90 and over will be treated to free entertainment and afternoon tea, from 2pm to 4pm.
The guests will enjoy a medley of popular 1940s songs played by pianist Brian Mason, and Joze School of Dance will put on a lively performance.
The afternoon will end with community singing led by Shirley Britton and Michael Loftus.
Free transport can be provided. Partners or escorts of those who are less mobile will also be welcome.
Anyone in the area, aged 90 or over, who would like an invitation is asked to contact Ilkley & District Good Neighbours at Riddings Hall, Riddings Road, Ilkley, telephone (01943) 603348, or e-mail info@goodneighbours.ilkley.org as soon as possible as booking forms need to be returned to the office by September 12.
