Wharfedale Quilters held a successful patchwork and quilting show at Ilkley’s Christchurch on Saturday as part of the Ilkley Summer Festival.
Visitors were treated to a colourful display of different types of quilting and patchwork as well as the opportunity to buy items made by talented members.
Although the group has been meeting and making since the turn of the century, this was their first show.
It was so well received by members of the public, that there might well be another.
The new season starts again on Wednesday, September 11, at the Methodist Church Hall, Ben Rhydding, at 7pm.
Beginners and experienced needle workers alike are very welcome. Call (01943) 604683 for details.
