More than 100 children attended the annual holiday club run by all the churches in Ilkley and Ben Rhydding last week.
The club, held at St John’s Ben Rhydding, was on the theme of Space Academy, so the children learnt lots about space and galaxies as well as learning about the bible character Daniel.
They did crafts, games, sang songs, told jokes and had fun making new friends.
Organiser Ruth Jones said: “The children came running in every morning to find out what was happening each day.
“We have an amazing team of volunteer helpers who welcome the children so warmly and make sure every child feels special and has a wonderful time.
“Most of the helpers run children’s activities throughout the year at their local churches so families should check out the churches’ websites to find something suitable for them.”
