Young entrants came up with colourful and imaginative entries at this year’s Burley Gardeners’ Association show last weekend.
The show, held in the Queen’s Hall on Main Street, Burley-in-Wharfedale, on Sunday, boasted a host of classes for flowers, fruit, vegetables, photography and crafts.
Pictured is eight-year-old Hannah Markey, from Bingley, with her award-winning dahlias.
Visitors to the show on Sunday afternoon could see all the exhibits, plus displays by Burley Art Group, floral artist Sheila Quin, Courtyard Planters of Otley, Fancy That from Wharfedale Fine Foods, Strulch Organic Gardening and Workaid Recycled Tools.
