Pamela Clarke, 86, of Ilkley, was presented with her Lifetime Achievement Award in a star-studded ceremony on Sunday at London’s iconic hotel, The Savoy.
Pamela’s story was chosen from amongst thousands of nominations sent in from all over the UK.
At the age of 86, the proud mother of two adopted children and four granddaughters goes to work every day at her local Tesco store, where she has worked for nearly 26 years.
In her spare time Pamela dedicates every waking moment to helping others, including caring for her husband of 65 years, Bruce, 90, who is blind.
This is the ninth year of the Tesco Mum of the Year Awards, which celebrates inspirational mums from all over the UK, who have made a difference to the lives of others.
The Tesco Mum of the Year Awards was screened on Channel 5 on Mother’s Day, Sunday, March 30 at 6.10pm.
