An MP is urging his constituents to nominate local good causes to get money from a bank.
Pudsey, Horsforth and Aireborough MP Stuart Andrew is encouraging the public to put nominations forward for the Lloyds Bank Community Fund, which opens today.
He said: “For the first time, Lloyds customers and the wider public will be able to nominate local good causes to invite them to apply to the Community Fund this year.
“Around 1,400 good causes in 350 communities across England, Wales, Northern Ireland and the Channel Islands are set to benefit from the fund, with grants of up to £3,000, supporting projects and services that make a positive difference to local communities and therefore I would like to encourage as many of my constituents as possible to nominate local good causes.”
