An online recruitment firm from Otley is celebrating winning another industry award.

Blue Octopus scooped the award for Best Online Candidate Experience at this year’s Onrec Awards.

The Leeds Road based company, now in its fourth year, also won at last year’s Onrec event when it took home the Creative Offline Marketing Award.

Blue Octopus’ client co-ordinator Vicky Nicholson, who attended the presentation ceremony at St Paul’s Hotel, London, said: “I’m really happy. It’s a well-deserved achievement for us at Blue Octopus.

“It’s a big team effort and everyone contributes, so getting this recognition really boosts everyone’s belief in what we do.”

The firm were also at the ceremony to represent one of its key customers, Advanced Childcare, which had been shortlisted for The Best Corporate Use of Online Recruitment award.

Co-founder and joint managing director of Blue Octopus, Chris Coleman, said: “Our award is a fantastic achievement, plus it was a great honour to also represent a key client.
