Ben Rhydding retirement village Audley Clevedon has donated more than £200 to charity Parkinson’s UK after a fundraising race night organised by one of the residents.
Brian Lee masterminded the charity night for those living in the retirement village and club members.
Mr Lee, alongside friends and fellow Audley Clevedon residents Peter and Cilla Seago, presented a £224 cheque to the chairman of Parkinson’s UK Skipton branch Allan Cawood and treasurer Gill Wiseman.
Residents at Audley Clevedon chose Parkinson’s UK as it is a cause close to their hearts.
The retirement village’s general manager, David Kanarens, said: “Our successful activities have seen the residents at Audley Clevedon raise an impressive £224 to date for Parkinson’s UK.
“We are indebted to the hard work of Mr Lee for his incredible fundraising drive.
“We have been overwhelmed by people’s generosity and look forward to the many future events we have planned in aid of this very deserving charity.”
