Form 3 (Y5) at Ilkley’s Westville House School have been pushing out the frontiers of their knowledge to find out all about our solar system and the universe, as we know it!
They started investigating all the planets in the solar system and then explored what we know about our universe, including the big bang theory, dark matter, black holes and space travel.
Mr Christian Adamthwaite, deputy head and head of science at Westville, said: “It is wonderful teaching children about the solar system and inspiring them to find out more about our universe.
“Their questions open up many possible fascinating discussions, and their imaginations go to infinity and beyond.”
