Westville House pupil nine-year-old Harry Ashton was recently awarded a trophy for excellent progress in skiing.
In December whilst skiing in Zoncolan, Italy, Harry skied on red runs most of his holiday, and achieved a downhill speed of 58.9km/h.
Headteacher, Rosey James said: “At Westville House we celebrate all the achievements of our pupils – both those gained inside school and those awarded out in the wider community.”
Green runs are for first time skiers, blue runs are aimed at beginners intermediate, red runs are medium (more difficult) aimed at competent/advanced intermediate skiers and black runs are the most difficult, for advanced/expert skiers.
