Visitors to Ghyll Royd School’s Adventure Morning last Saturday were delighted with the activities on offer.
Working in groups the children took turns at the climbing wall, army assault course, forest adventure and rugby coaching. Visitors also took the opportunity to view the school, its grounds and enjoy refreshments.
Head teacher of the school in Burley-in-Wharfedale, Jo Jenkinson, said: “‘I am delighted that so many people attended the event. The Army, Carnegie Great Outdoors and Skipton Rugby Club provided some excellent activities that the children were thrilled with.
“An enormous thank you to them. Parents enjoyed being able to watch the children in action and commented on how much they had enjoyed the morning. Positive feedback indeed.”
