When it comes to looking the part, the Guiseley Girls under 9s football team is top of the league, thanks to the support of the local branch of Manning Stainton.
The girls have been sporting their new kit after it was donated by the estate agency.
Team manager Michael Swann said: “We cannot thank Manning Stainton enough. It takes a lot of money to run the football club and it is impossible to provide a new kit for all our teams, without the help of sponsors.
“The girls have been playing in kit handed down by other teams which is not ideal, but now they really look the part when they take to the field.” Clare Frieze, the manager at the Guiseley branch of Manning Stainton, saw the girls in their new kit during a friendly fixture against Horsforth. Before kick off, she was presented with a bunch of flowers in the firm’s colours.
She said: “Presenting me with the flowers was a lovely gesture and showed just how grateful they were to receive the sponsorship. Local sports teams play an important role in the community and need the support of local businesses to allow them to keep up their great work, so it is a pleasure to be able to help them in this way.”
