Charity shop bosses are hoping spring clean fever will encourage shoppers in Guiseley to bag a bargain with Barnardo’s. To mark the arrival of British Summer Time the Barnardo’s shop in the town launched its new spring collection of clothes and goods this week.
Barnardo’s area business manager, Lindsey Harris, said: “This is usually one of our busiest times of year. We hope that families planning to spring clean their homes will also be spring cleaning their wardrobes too. As well as competitively priced trousers, skirts, shirts, blouses and jackets for all the family – Barnardo’s shops also stock many new household goods. So we’re well worth a visit if you haven’t been in for a while.” All proceeds from Barnardo’s shops go towards the charity’s work with children and families in the local area.
