A new computer-based Family History course will be launched in Otley after the Easter break.
Prince Henry's Grammar School is running the programme, which starts on Wednesday, April 23, as part of its Community Education scheme.
Sessions will run from 7pm to 9pm on Wednesdays for seven weeks and be led by local genealogy tutor Jackie Depelle.
Jackie will help students, who can enrol now, to use online resources to trace their ancestors and track down elusive relations.
Programme director Christopher Lillington said: “Jackie’s course has been very popular over the last few years as her students learn the specialist techniques for researching their ancestors online.
"Students have told us they particularly value the opportunity to discover the tricks of the trade from an expert at such a reasonable cost."
The course costs £37, or £29 for anyone over 60 and in full-time retirement.
Enrolment forms and more information can be obtained by visiting princehenrys.co.uk or calling (01943) 463524.
