Otley businesses are being encouraged to join in the Tour de France celebrations by holding a stall on the day.
Otley Town Partnership is organising a Food and Craft Market for the start of the race, on Saturday, July 5, and wants as many local food and drink traders as possible to get involved.
Partnership member Lawrence Ross said: “There will be a big demand for food and drink on the day, from an early breakfast through to lunch and beyond.
“There are lots of food outlets south of the route in the main shopping area, but on the south side there is a distinct lack – yet there will be a steady demand.
“Food and drink retail businesses can benefit from having extra selling space on the day.”
The market will take place on Manor Square, Clapgate and along Courthouse Street – to find out more about hiring a stall send an e-mail to farmersmarket@otley townpartnership.org or call Jane on 07775 298556.
