Otley schoolchildren enjoyed looking around the cockpit of a passenger jet.
Pupils from Otley All Saints C of E Primary were shown around Jet2.com’s hangar at Leeds Bradford Airport as part of their transport project.
The visit included a guided tour of one of the airline’s 737 planes, including a demonstration of how its cockpit works, and a practice safety procedure. Jet2.com’s hangar manager Sam Bedford said: “We were delighted to help Otley All Saints Primary School with their transport project.
“They were an absolute joy to have. We all had lots of fun and they were all extremely well behaved.
“Who knows, we could be speaking with the airline’s future generation of pilots, cabin crew and engineers.”
