Twenty-one different beer and cider varieties will feature in a beer festival at Pool-in-Wharfedale tomorrow.
The Pool Cricket Club event, being run in association with Otley’s Old Cock pub and sponsored by Otley All Saints Parish Church, takes place at the Village Hall on Good Friday, April 18.
The noon to 11pm festival will also feature a premium lager and wine stall, food and music and costs £5 to enter – which includes a drink token, souvenir glass and programme listing all the beers and real ales on offer.
The festival will raise funds for the cricket club, which runs a dozen teams ranging from the under 9s to seniors and is celebrating its 75th year as a community group with grounds behind the village hall.
Anyone who would like to sponsor a barrel at the event or offer other support should contact Chris Deeley on 07801 928605, e-mail chris_deeley @msn.com, to find out more.
