Ben Kelt and Isabel Woodward with their trophies
Skipton Festival produced some super results for pupils of Ilkley’s Westville House School.
Ben Kelt, age eight, won the Under 12 singing solo and was awarded the Mary Williamson Cup and Isabel Woodward, age ten, won the Under 14 folk solo and was awarded the Valerie Baulard Cup, an amazing achievement as most of the children in this class were aged 13 and 14.
Other results included: James Adam, third in the under 12 piano solo; Landon Crowther, second in under 14 ‘songs from the shows’; Julia Horsley, Celia Aspin,and Allegra Riley Smith third in under 11 piano trio; Allegra Riley Smith third in under ten piano solo and Charity Clifford, second in under 12 strings solo.
