A story about a Cookie Dragon has won a young film-makers award for pupils from Tranmere Park School in Guiseley.
The Leeds Young Film-makers Golden Owl Awards Key Stage 2 Animation prize has gone to Tranmere Park ICT club.
A spokesman for the school said: “There was an overwhelming number of entries that were of outstanding quality and our video had some stiff competition.
A fantastic evening was had by all at the Leeds Town Hall black tie event.
“Their animation The Cookie Dragon was made by the children who attend ICT club. The story is about a young man who travels through a mystery door while visiting a museum. He finds himself in a mysterious land and to escape he must confront the Cookie Monster. The short animation will be shown at the Boomerang Jam kid’s festival in Leeds on May 25 and 26.
