A Bradford woman has been disqualified from driving for two years after she admitted drink-driving on Hangingstone Road in Ilkley. Hannah Bates, 32, of Spinney Rise, Tong, was also fined £500 after Bradford and Keighley Magistrates Court heard she drove a BMW on April 2 while more than two-and-a-half times the drink-drive limit.
She admitted the charge last Wednesday. Magistrates took into account her guilty plea when imposing the sentence. They said the disqualification could be reduced by six months if she completes a course approved by the Secretary of State.
