A couple are inviting runners to celebrate their wedding by running up Beamsley Beacon in fancy dress.
Stephanie French and Andrew Kitts will tie the knot at St Peter’s Church in Addingham on May 3, at 3pm.
But prior to the ceremony, they are holding a fun fell race, and are inviting other runners to take part, and looking for volunteers to marshall or just cheer on the runners.
The fancy dress fell race will start at 10am outside St Peter’s Church, and head for the local landmark.
Details of the race, including how to enter, will be posted on the Keighley and Craven Athletics Club website shortly, at kcac.co.uk.
Everyone is welcome to run but anyone not interested in taking part is very welcome to help out with marshalling, or to spectate.
There will be a buffet lunch in the church hall next to the church along with prizegiving after the race, starting around 11.30am.
