The Yorkshire Air Ambulance’s lifesaving work has been given a £700 boost by an Otley group.
The Otley Chevin Inner Wheel Club raised the money by holding a fish and chip supper, while guests watched an on-screen concert by Andre Rieu, at the Wetherby Whaler in Guiseley.
The Yorkshire Air Ambulance provides a rapid response emergency service to five million people across the region throughout the year and needs to raise more than £9,000 a day to keep its helicopters maintained and in the air.
