An evening of live music and games will be held in Otley this weekend to raise money for The Alzheimer’s Society.
The town’s Argos store has organised the fundraiser at Old Otliensians Rugby Club on Saturday as part of its ongoing support for the charity.
Starting at 7pm, the event will feature live music from Ra’s and The Real Girl, a quiz and a raffle offering a top prize of a computer tablet.
Entry costs £2 and tickets are available from Argos, in Boroughgate, or on the door. Pie and peas will also be available – with the pies supplied by Otley butchers JB Wilkinson and Sons.
Old Otliensians are providing the clubhouse at Chafers Field and running the bar free of charge on the night.
The Alzheimer’s Society is Argos’s charity of the year for the second year running.
Argos as a whole raised £1 million for the organisation in 2013, with the Otley store among the top ten contributors.
