Leeds City Council has confirmed the full schedule for its 2014 Summer Bands in Leeds Parks programme.
A variety of groups, ranging from brass and orchestral to jazz, will perform from 2.30pm at green spaces across the city between May and September.
Locally, the fun begins at Tarnfied Park, Yeadon, on Sunday, June 1, with an appearance from Yorkshire Imperial Urquhart Travel Band.
Two concerts at Golden Acre Park, featuring Sharp Intake and Leeds Jazz Orchestra respectively, will then be held on Sunday, June 8, and Sunday, June 22.
Otley will get its first show of the season when the Yorkshire Brass Quintet performs at Wharfemeadows Park on Sunday, June 29.
More concerts at each of the parks, featuring different acts – including, in Yeadon, the Yorkshire Bavarian Oompah Band – have also been lined up for July and August.
The season will conclude locally with a show by Bradford Metropolitan Concert Band at Horsforth Hall Park on Sunday, September 7.
