A fundraising ska and reggae night in Otley has raised a record amount for charity.
DJ Richard Spencer has been holding the annual music event at the Yew Tree Inn, raising lots of money for various good causes in the process, for a number of years now.
But last Saturday’s fundraiser was the most successful so far and brought in £1,600 for this year’s charity, the Children’s Heart Surgery Fund at Leeds.
Richard said: “We had a brilliant night and reached our best ever total so I’m delighted. People have said it was the best one yet. We were helped by individuals kindly donating some really good raffle prizes.”
