Ilkley-based choir Cantores Olicanae is holding a jazz-orientated singing workshop at Ilkley Grammar School on May 10.
Anyone who has ever fancied having a go at singing in a choir can take part, and no singing or musical experience is required.
The choir says it welcomes anyone who would like to try singing, for the most part without a musical score, and have fun with rhythm, syncopation and some jazz numbers from a forthcoming concert in June.
The session will be led Cantores Olicanae’s dynamic musical director, Jonathan Brigg.
Ilkley Parish Council is sponsoring Cantores Olicanae to run this workshop and the choir says that it is grateful to Ilkley Grammar School for hosting the event.
