Award-winning online recruitment firm Blue Octopus will officially open its new Otley base next month.
The company, recent winners of an Onrec industry award, is moving from Leeds Road to 2 Station Road – Dacre, Son and Hartley’s former office.
MP Greg Mulholland will declare Octo House officially open at 12.30pm on Friday, May 23, when guests from some of the largest corporations in the UK – representing the firm’s clients – will also be attending.
A Blue Octopus spokesman said: “As a company that is proud to be from Yorkshire we couldn’t be happier with this new move.
“We have been based in Otley since our beginnings back in January 2010, and have now purchased the iconic building in Otley known as the Dacre’s office.
“The building is renowned in Otley as a landmark and we are glad to keep that true going forward, as our refurbishments will not change the exterior look of the building.”
The opening-day celebrations will begin at noon, with Mr Mulholland cutting the ribbon half an hour later.
