Otley residents joined Morris dancers to celebrate May Day in time-honoured fashion.
Children and their parents braved some poor weather on Thursday, May 1, to join the Buttercross Belles, Flash Dance and Wayzgoose around the Maypole on Cross Green.
The Morris sides started the fun off by giving demonstrations and then invited spectators to grab a ribbon and get involved, too.
Buttercross Belles member Mary Klemm said: “It was an enjoyable event despite miserable weather.
“We had a fair number of locals there plus the three dance groups, and did our best to put on a good show for May Day.”
