Renowned guitarist Craig Ogden will perform at Grove Methodist Church, Horsforth, on Saturday, May 18, at 3pm.
The Australian-born musician was the youngest instrumentalist to have received a Fellowship Award from the RNCM in Manchester.
Ogden’s Classic FM albums The Guitarist and Summertime went to number one in the UK classical chart in summer 2010 and 2011. He has performed concertos with all of the main UK orchestras and has presented on BBC Radio 3 and on ABC in Australia.
He is principal lecturer in guitar at the Royal Northern College of Music in Manchester and visiting lecturer at London’s Royal College of Music.
Tickets cost £10 at the door, or £8 in advance from Grove Concerts, 21A West End Lane Horsforth LS18 5JP. Enclose a cheque f/o Grove Methodist Church and SAE. Accompanied children are free but they need a ticket.
