An Otley boy’s fundraising book about the adventures of his pet hamster has been flying off the shelves.
Six-year-old Harry Buckley, who died last month after battling a rare form of cancer, wrote Runaway Joey with some help from friends.
Otley Lions, who have been selling the illustrated book at their shop on Mercury Row, quickly sold out but now have another batch in stock. Runaway Joey costs £5 with all off the profits going to Nuzzlets Farm animal sanctuary.
The book can also be bought online at uk.virginmoneygiving.com/HarryBuckleyand friends.
