Paralympic triple gold medallist David Stone has been appointed Colin Appleyard’s Nissan Ambassador.
David, who lives in Rawdon, won two gold medals at the Beijing Paralympics, and a gold and bronze at the London Games.
As part of his role as a Colin Appleyard ambassador, the cyclist has use of a brand new Nissan Qashqai. The car manufacturer is one of the Rio Olympics official sponsors.
In return he will take part in An Audience with David Stone when customers will be able to meet him, hear about his career and ask questions. He will also attend a special Colin Appleyard Tour de France event at their Keighley showroom on Sunday, July 7.
He said: “Getting sponsors is not easy, so to have the backing of a world-renowned car company is incredible. I picked up the Qashqai last week – the size of the car will make transporting my trike to races so much easier.”
