Ben Rhydding Sports Club is raising money by turning its pitches into campsites for the Tour de France.
The club, on Coutances Way, is making 125 tent pitches available on July 4, 5 and 6, as Stage 1 and 2 of the Grand Depart passes through the valley.
The club serves hundreds of members of the community, providing a base for hockey and football teams, as well as tennis courts and other facilities.
It is one of several clubs in the town making use of its land to provide camping space this summer.
The site opens at 10am on July 4 and closes, with all pitches cleared, on Monday, July 7 at 11am.
Campers will have use of toilets, showers and washrooms, a Beer Festival Tent from noon on Saturday until late, and Saturday night entertainment with a live band in the club’s bar.
Note that cars will not be able to enter or leave the club on Saturday morning as the A65 will be closed for the Tour.
Payment is at the time of booking.
