Entries are now being accepted for Otley's Ten Mile Road Race.
Hundreds of runners of all abilities from across the region and beyond compete in the annual event, which this year takes place on Wednesday, June 11.
Organised by Otley Athletic Club, the race begins at 7.30pm from Gallows Hill, off Pool Road, and finishes at Otley Cricket Club.
Last year, more than 350 runners completed the course, which goes through Pool-in-Wharfedale and Leathley before heading to Lindley and Farnley.
Race director Colin Best said: "As ever a huge amount of thanks to our sponsors, Buff, Nuflex, Yorkshire Tea, Pure Running, Original Factory Shop, Red Pepper Restaurant, Up and Running, and Pure Energy Gym.
"A range of prizes will be awarded to the winners and runners-up as well as to the various veteran categories for men in five-year age groups, from over 40 to over 70, and for women from over 35 to over 65.
"The first local man and woman will each receive a trophy, and there are also prizes for the first male and female teams. Entries taken on the day will also qualify for race prizes."
The long-running race is highly regarded because of its mixed terrain.
Records for the course have not been broken since 1989 when Colin Moor, from Bingley Harriers, romped home in 50min 56sec for the men and Veronique Marot, from Leeds City, finished in 57min 5sec.
If a winner breaks either of those records this year they will receive a bonus prize of £50.
