Shoppers in Otley and Rawdon are being asked to nominate a charity for their local supermarkets to support.
Sainsbury’s customers in both towns have until June 8 to vote, either in one of the stores or at sainsburys.co.uk/localcharity, for the next Local Charity Partner.
The chosen group or project will be announced in July and benefit from a year’s worth of support from both stores.
Store managers at Sainsbury’s Otley and Rawdon respectively, Paul Loughran and Ben Donnachie, said: “We are looking forward to supporting a local charity which touches many of our customers’ and colleagues’ hearts.
“The scheme gives us the chance to make a real difference to important causes in the community and we hope our customers get behind this year’s voting.”
Otley Action for Older People, which was Otley Sainsbury's local charity partner for the past two years, received £10,500 thanks to the partnership.
