A YOUTH Cafe Morning is being planned in Guiseley to raise funds for activities for young people.
The event will raise money for two youth clubs, the Friday Night Project and the Thursday Girls Group at Aireborough leisure Centre.
The clubs, run by Aireborough Extended Services and Guiseley Youth Project are struggling to pay for resources and activities.
A sixth former from Guiseley School is the main organiser of the event, at Guiseley Theatre from 10am to noon on Saturday, March 7.
Georgia Agar, a regular volunteer at the girls group, is being supported by fellow students from Guiseley School, who will perform live acoustic music.
Organisers will sell cakes and refreshments as well as run stalls including a hair and beauty bar, guess the teddy and book stall.
Katherine Robertshaw, activities coordinator with Aireborough Extended Services said: “This is going to be a fantastic event. We would like everyone to support it.”
